Valley of the Sacred Heart Academy provides a rich Catholic environment that is rooted in the principles of Montessori and Classical education – while igniting a child’s love for God. Both full- and part-time branches of the academy cooperate to meet the spiritual and educational needs of children and their families.

At the heart of the academy is Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, a Montessori approach to the spiritual formation of children.

Montessori Method

Combining Dr. Maria Montessori’s innovative approach to education of the whole child with her vision for teaching the Catholic faith through Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.
Children ages 3-12 learn through the Montessori Method.
Children in Junior High, 7th and 8th grade, use a more traditional, Classical approach to education in preparation for Chesterton Academy.
